No Lather
The soap smells great and does not dry you out, the only issue I have with it is that you get very little lather. I have to use 2-3x as much to shower as other soaps and due to the size of the bottle this could get expensive. Otherwise a great product just needs more suds.

Smells Amazing!
Not super strong mint but just the right amount. A little goes a long way. Love the way it smells and feels on body, doesnt leave a soapy residue. Definitely will be buying again.

Good product line, but doesn't have a safety seal on cap
I know Avalon is a good company. I ordered the bath gel & lotion in the lemon scent. Noticed that there was a little bit of a sticky residue on the bottle. Checked to see if there was a foil/plastic safety seal on the opening of the bottle. There was not. Called the company (Avalon). They said they don't come with a safety seal on. In this day & age, I'm shocked that products would not come with a safety seal. I think possibly a tiny bit leaked in shipping--thus the somewhat slightly sticky bottle in areas. Not enough to return. This was a replacement bottle as the first seemed to be lost in transit. That one finally arrive with the bottle dented almost halfway in with 1/2 of the gel in the bag. Maybe this kind of thing could be avoided if they put a seal on the bottle opening. Won't order again--shipping is not this product's friend.

Good product, bad packaging
Updated for second order: This order came in a packaging envelope. It was also spilled. Like the product but I wouldn’t expect to order without it spilling. Disliked: came spilled - not too much was missing so I didn’t ask for a replacement. Liked: Good price ($10) for a full bottle of clean/organic product. The lemon smell is strong, so as long as you like lemon the scent is good.

I feel like this cleanses my body pretty well and it smells good! I’ll keep buying this brand. I love that it’s very safe/clean ingredients and is a pretty decent price!

Wonderful Body Gel - R.I.P. Big Foot
Nice smell, great lather, rinses well. Love it. It's going to replace my earlier favorite; Big Foot's Frosty Peppermint bar - R.I.P Big Foot So why only 3 stars Mr. Big Foot killer? Well, I am glad you asked! It's because my wonderful 12 OZ bottle of Avalon Peppermint Body Gel arrived with only about 6 ounces in the bottle - The other 6 ounces were covering the other 5 items in the box that I ordered - what a MESS ! Seriously Amazon, shape up your shipping & packaging crews

Very gentle on the skin -but don't get it in your eyes!
I've been using this bath and shower gel for a few years now (first time I've purchased it from Amazon though). It's not as rich smelling or thick as it used to be -a few years ago it smelled delicious as if it was edible! However the current fragrance is still pleasant enough and it's extremely gentle on the skin and non-drying. I've yet to find another shower gel that I prefer to this one. "Yes to Carrots" was a close second (it's made with organic carrots) but the tingling sensation that it gave very sensitive areas of my skin had me switching back to this stuff. Oh yeah almost forgot -don't be careless like me- beware of getting this stuff in your eyes! On the odd occasion that I've done it, it's felt like I had a proper foreign body in there! My eye stayed red for a good long while too! Otherwise a very nice product :-)

I have mature, dry sensitive skin and I started using organic products last year because I started getting terrible spots on my back, I have only just started using products from Avalon, but am looking forward to trying some more. I don't have trouble with spots any more, you only need a drop and the foam lasts all bath time, exceptional value for money. Carry on the good work.

Dangerous. Don't use if you have sensitive skin. Bought this for my daughter as we prefer organic products. She has slightly sensitive skin, but never had a reaction like she did with this shower gel. I'm not sure this is fit for sale to be honest. See photo or bright red skin from my daughter.
