Works as Advertised
Product works well with my boat. It allows several options for mounting, depending on your trailer. Although I have a hydraulic lift/lower for the motor, the transom saver keeps my motor straight while transporting.

Works fine but doesn't swivel
This transom saver does NOT swivel, so if you're motor moves at all (like from a really bumpy road back to your secret fishing hole), it bends the metal to each side of the "saddle" the motor wedges into. My previous one actually swiveled to help with this so I just assumed they all did. Guess I'll know to look for that next time!

Works perfectly on many brands and engine sizes. Had to replace the first one only because I was rear ended. This unit probably saved my boat as it directed the energy into the trailer. I know this isn't the intent of design, but it seemed to work.

GOOD VALUE
This transom saver does the job. Not only is it a transom saver, it's also a money saver. The price was right. It is well built with replaceable rubber contacts. I have a 115hp on my 18' bow rider and this transom keeps it rock solid still when I trailer me boat. It's adjustable so you can trailer it high and store it low.
