Needs a little fine tuning for what I needed it for????

China Quality

Big and fairly heavy duty. The problem is 2 of the small screws that hold the various tips in place had stripped threads. Also the tips would not grip the huge 4 inch snap rings I was trying to install. I could compress the ring but when I would try to work it into position the tip would slip off of the snap ring. I ended up inserting a small stainless steel screw with a nut through the threaded hole for the tip then inserted the screw through the snap ring. That worked great. But I should not have had to modify the pliers to make them work properly.

Not junk but not high quality. Will definitely get the job done. Used on 2" snap rings.

Heavy duty for sure. Does what I need them to do.

they bent and were useless

I tried to use them on a 4" diameter Moroso oil accumulator snap ring, but the tips are so poorly aligned they could not get the ends of the ring close enough together to get the ring out. So I had the tips welded in place, but when I tried to use the pliers they bent because the metal is too soft. I tried this several times after bending them back into place but they bent each time. They would probably work for rings that are easy to compress.
