Convenient, durable, easy to carry... does NOT last 3 days

First the bad: no chance does ice last 3 days in this during the summer. 1 day without opening it at all *maybe*... but more likely 12-15 hours. But 12-15 hours is pretty good for our needs. On any day trip, visit to friends, etc., this is going to keep every thing ice cold the entire time. I've only used this in the summer thus far so I imagine that time stretches considerably in the winter. Beyond that, it's all positive. It feels sturdy. There are plenty of pockets and compartments for both cold and warm items. The strap is secure and comfortable. It's easy to get into and close up. It's stylish and costs a lot less than a YETI with similar capacity. I'm happy with my purchase and I would highly recommend this as long as you aren't expecting your items to stay cold for multiple days in a warm climate.

One of our Favorite Camping Purchases

There's just two of us. We've been hauling around a big cooler for too long. Have to fill it with ice. We don't need it for more than a day. It's just been a pain. So - we decided to go with something smaller and lighter. And this fit the bill quite nicely. My wife loves all the storage around it and the fact that it doesn't have a zipper and it's easy to get in. We also love the try on top that keeps it out of the water/condensation. It has become the perfect size for our day trips for drinks and food. It keeps it cold long enough for us, is easy to clean, easy to access, and has become one of our favorite purchases recently. If I could change one thing it would be to have some kind of handles on the side or across the top so that you didn't have to carry it from the shoulder. I understand why it is that way with the easy access lid - but it makes for some awkward transfers from the car to the campsite. Not a major issue.

Great design

I really like the design of this cooler. The size is good for extended outings. The liner seems tough...bends enough to take hits, but isn't brittle like some. The outside insulated pocket is a good idea...comes in handy for storing a few already cold cans or bottles for a short period of time. The lid is the best thing about it....no latches, no velcro, no zippers. No, it won't keep ice for days and some of that is due to the lid, but for day trips or shorter it does pretty good. Mine has kept good ice for 5-6 hours on the beach. More extreme temps it will melt quickly (back of the car for example), but it's good for most uses. The tray is also a good touch. Makes it easy to store food and keep it from getting squashed or wet. Capacity is good....enough to keep a couple of grown men buzzed for the majority of the day, so good job on that one. The strap is OK...not great, but OK. It's very heavy duty and seems like it'll hold up, but the rubber grip will leave a rash on your shoulder if the cooler is weighed down. I'd like to see some longer handle type straps that will reach together in the middle to allow one handed movement...the smaller handles on the side are good for shifting it around, but.....well, they take two hands due to how far apart they are. Small gripe though. Bottle opener is another good touch. The mesh pockets on the sides are kind of a joke. They do well for very lightweight stuff like napkins or snacks, but anything with an edge would cut the mesh.

Don't Overfill with Drinks, Use More Ice

I bought the 48 can cooler. I like the design of the ice chest, as it is lightweight but very sturdy. I like the easy open top, too. I have only used this ice chest for one weekend, but I found that when you fill it with lots of drinks and ice, the ice melts fairly quickly. I filled it up with cokes and beer, etc., and then two bags of ice. I took it to my high school reunion where I was using my motel room as the headquarters for my high school clique. It was inside my airconditioned room. After several hours the ice was already melting, and by the next day it was totally gone. So, it may keep ice for three days if all there is in it is ice. I imagine that I had put too many drinks in it compared to the amount of ice I used, so next time I use it I will use twice as much ice as I have drinks.

Ice stays frozen for days!

I was looking for a new cooler to take camping this summer. The last time I went, I had to use a Styrofoam cooler (horrible for the environment, I know, and will never do again) because I didn't have time to order one online. It was a last minute camping trip. I had to go get ice every day because the ice would melt. I needed a cooler that wouldn't cost $100-$300 like those Yeti's everyone has. I stumbled upon this product and couldn't be happier. I immediately put ice in it to do the ice test. After 2 days, there was a little melting but most of the ice was still in tact. I was shocked! My steaks/drinks/condiments will stay cold all weekend with this thing. And for $60? Amazing! It has a drawer in it to separate sandwiches etc. so they don't get crushed. And it uses a zipperless cold lock top, which makes opening it that much easier . There is another insulated compartment in the front where I can put cheeses for my morning breakfast and I wont have to dig around the cooler to get it. The shoulder strap makes it easy to carry. There are also 2 side handles if you don't want to throw it over your shoulder. This will give any expensive Yeti cooler a run for its money. $240 cheaper than the yeti (that only holds 45 cans). And with the savings, I was able to get cooking supplies, utensils and a portable burner. And Altogether, It all still was $100 less than what I would have spent on a Yeti. Arctic Zone is the way to go!

Very impressive & a good price

I bought my second Titan cooler--larger one and a smaller one. There is no way I was going to spend so much money on the super high level names so I decided to give this a try. I got lucky I found these. They are great---keep my food cold all day which I need for my 10-12 hour days. I absolutely would continue to buy from them.

I bought the 48 cans, blue cooler. I like it. I will do an update later. I put my silverware, napkins, sanitizers, wet washcloths in the front pouches. The shoulder strap is nothing special. It will stay in place on the shoulder without sliding. It is what it is and should be for the price of it. I will do an update on the cooler. I will be packing the frozen water bottles of 8x500 ml bottles and see how cool it keeps the food and drinks during a day and let you know how it held up in what weather and humidex we went for our picnic when it happens. More later. I ordered it about noon hour July 3rd and Amazon's courier delivered it by noon July 5th. Fash delivery If I like it more. I may do a 5 star.

Great coolers. Highly recommended

I own the 30 and 48 coolers and love both of them. There light weight and do a good job of keeping you food/drinks cold. I use one ice pack and my lunch and pop are still cool even after an 11 hour shift. But, I've been burned before by companies claiming the cold can last 3 days so I put the 48 cooler to the test. It remained in a dark closet that was 20c. I put one bag ice in with 12 cold ones and that after 16 hours the ice was gone and it had dropped to 15c. So I topped up the drinks to 30 and added 2 bags of ice. 24 hours later, some ice remained and at 42 hours the water was 11c. Overall, these are great coolers and I highly recommend them. Just be careful on how you pack it as side pressure can pop the top open.

Arrived with a crack in the plastic piece.

I thought I bought this brand new, I guess not. I opened the box, opened the cooler to find a big crack down the left hand side of the plastic piece inside going from the top to pretty much the bottom. I managed to super glue it back together, but for the price I paid I'm not impressed with having to fix a brand new product after it shows up at my door. Even though I super glued it I know it will never be as durable as it should be.
