It’s strong but needs better instructions
I had to drill a little deeper than the 2.25 in it recommends. I’d say about 2.5 in is more accurate. I used a good hammer drill and I already had a 5/8 masonry drill bit from big box store. Also remember to put the anchor in the hole with the fat end first. I accidentally put the first one in upside down and had to do extra work to fix that problem. Instructions should be better imo.

Perfect for my needs
This baby will not come out if installed properly. Using this to attach to chain to hold my generator during peer outages. They give you the drill bit but not one for a pilot hole. Instructions are good, well detailed and make the installation easy. I anchored into concrete and used an sds plus ryobi drill, 18v and it went through the concrete like butter. The anchors are fine. Would use again if needed. Believe me, it's not coming out of the concrete.

Great anchor. Requires hammer drill.
The good: Absolutely love this anchor. Wish I had one for my previous mountain bike but it was old and I probably needed a new one anyway. ???? If this bike is stolen it won’t be due to this anchor coming loose. The not so good: Installation was a challenge. I’m no handyman but I know how to use a drill. Unfortunately this job required more than my cordless. My the time I borrowed my friend’s hammer drill and bought an upgraded drill bit I had slightly damaged the included concrete anchors and bolts and couldn’t find replacements. I used concrete adhesive to compensate and it worked great. We live and learn.

Strongly recommend using a hammer drill for this!
Highly recommend you use a hammer drill with the included masonry drill bit. If you don't, the hole won't be as tight, and it could be difficult to set the the masonry anchor nut in the hole. That said, it can be done with a regular drill, and *if* you have issues with the nut spinning in the hole, pull up on it while you tighten it to get the anchor to set.

Well built anchor for bikes/motorcycles.
I bought this to secure a Honda motorcycle outside on the patio as I do not have a garage or shed. After I mounted this I ran a heavy chain around the front wheel of my bike with a huge padlock. This ground anchor is a beast and VERY secure. The only issue I had was I could not drill through the concrete with a standard drill. I bought a Skil hammer drill on Amazon and the supplied masonry bit went through the concrete easily. So if you buy this..use a hammer drill.

Drilling very tough
Not the fault of the product, but drilling the holes in the concrete floor, even with a hammer drill, is super tough. And the anchors break very easily trying to tap them in. You need to have some serious experience with drilling into concrete to install this.

Great product, but cheap anchor bolts
Great ground lock, but the included anchor bolts are cheaply made and one broke during installation. A quick trip to Home Depot and I had better quality anchor bolts. Been using for a month now and very happy with the lock.

Secure lock ring.
Unit feels secure without being intrusive. Bought to hold new motorcycle together with chain and disc lock. Insurance discount received due to using these named items. Easy to install and if located out the way, base is not an obstruction/ trip hazard.

Motorcycle anchor point
Excellent anchor point for my motorcycle. Tried drilling into the garage floor, but ran into rebar, so moved it to the garage wall. Took about an hour to drill the 4 holes in the concrete and mount the anchor. Warning for those people about to mount it.... do not hammer in the anchor plugs too far, as the screw won't screw in once the top metal plate is attached! This one, I only could only screw in 3 screws as 1 was hammered into the wall too far! If I'm feeling ambitious this summer, I may purchase another one for other stuff I want to lock down in my garage.
