What rain

I bought these for a tournament that I knew it was gonna rain on me. This things took it like a champ! From the waist down, I was completely dry after 3 hours of golfing in the rain. Only downside, lack of pockets.

Works well

I bought these for walking in the rain and various activities (Disc Golf). They work great so far, no issues. I like how they fold up nicely. Super compact.

Exactly what it says

The pants were as represented. Great value. Fit comfortably over pants, and kept the rain off. Note that there are no pockets and no zippers at the ankles.

One of the best light weight packable wind and waterproof rain gear out there.

I own multiple sets of the Rebel Roamer Pant. Since there's no Rebel Roamer Jacket, I also own multiple Watertight II Jackets. Both of which are lightweight, in comparison to traditional rain gear, and packable for a wide range of uses. I keep a set in Mountain bike panniers, backpacking kit, camping kit, car trunk, semi truck chain up kit. Combined with the Watertight II Jacket, the Rebel Roamer pants folds up, and fits inside of the jacket's reversible packable pocket. The downside is snags. The inside layer is prone to tear if snagged on anything sharp or hot.

Work well but need a lot of alterations

Thank goodness I can sew because these require quite a few alterations to suit my needs, however the fabric and performance are worth the investment. I wear them out and buy more.

Good product but big

When I got these pants (size Large/30" length), they looked noticeably big around the legs (see attached picture). I measured the bottom, and they were 11" width at the bottom opening which is too wide for my liking. So I had a seamstress taper the legs for a closer fit...this did the trick for me. Now they fit like regular pants and I can still wear thermals underneath. With all of the rain we've had this winter in SoCal, I gave them a try and they worked perfectly...the fit was better and they were waterproof. It sucked I had to pay someone to taper the pants but at least I'm happier with the pants now

A bit big, but worked great.

I'm 6' tall with a size 38 waste, got XL. Went over my butt while wearing jeans just fine, but the legs were a bit too long. The Velcro ankle straps didn't go around very far so that wasn't much help, but with boots on it wasn't too much of a problem. I wore them while spending a day snowshoeing, trail hiking, skating, and cross-country skiing. Sitting in a pile of snow one time to wait for the family to catch up to me is the only real test I gave the pants but my jeans were perfectly dry at the end of the day.. It did a pretty good job of blocking the wind, I guess.

The negative first. There are no pockets! That is an error in the info provide. They are super light weight and thin. Not sure if that's a negative yet so time will tell. I kept them because they fit well and the large size fits perfectly for a 6ft 195lb guy with a slight belly .lol I own other columbia products and the quality and fit are perfect. Since I bought these to walk the dog when it rains then they should last me out since I'm 69. My 3 stars are for the value for what I paid.. not because they have no pockets. Even on sale they are over priced but Amazon still beat other prices. The quality of the product seems good. They are loose fitting in the leg so should fit easily over other pants and the waist is stretchy enough to fit also though I'm not sure if a belt on other pants would cause damage., Ordering an xl for me would have been too big so again these fit as they should so I suggest ordering your waist size.

Definitely fits large, but also fits long. I normally wear a 32 x 32, so ordered a small x 32... and the back of the cuff almost touches the ground. Also, as many other reviews have said, there are no pockets. And they are REAL baggy.
