Great jacket if you know what you're buying
This Evapouration Jacket is an exceptional outer layer for wet weather assuming you understand its limitations. The jacket is absolutely waterproof. You WILL stay dry in torrential downpour. You will stay warm with it as an outer layer to cut wind. Performs well above its price point. That being said, you need to know its limitations and understand what you are buying. If you are near the comforts of civilization it will do everything you need and more. Rainy trips to and from the vehicle. Rainy work outside. Rainy shooting classes. If you are going to be away from civilization and out in the mountains or on the trail, where staying dry can mean life and death then you will want to spend the money on an expensive goretex layer. While the Evapouration jacket does indeed breath, it does not breath enough to keep up with heavy physical exertion. If you work hard in this jacket, you WILL sweat. Out on the trail that can mean being covered in a layer of your own sweat and putting yourself in greater danger of hypothermia. If you don't expect $300-$500 goretex performance, you will be pleasantly surprised.

It's an authentic Columbia Jacket
After reading some of the bad reviews I was worried the jacket might be a cheap knock off but I took a risk and was pleasantly surprised to receive an authentic jacket with stitched logo and fantastic waterproofing. It might be a luck of the draw type situation but I definitely recommend it. If you are doing vigorous exercise it will still not wick sweat fast enough but I haven't found any jacket that does that successfully.

Good fit and design
Purchased for backpacking. Haven't had it on with a pack yet. I can tell from wearing on hikes that the "pit zips" are going to be worth it. Good ventilation where things can get swampy. I'm 6', 250lb and it fits around my extra baggage nicely. I like the hood functionality with cord locks/ shock cord and Velcro tab behind head. Packs down into self and seams are sealed inside.

Awesome look
This jacket looks really cool. It looks good with a pair of adidas running shoes, vans or hiking boots. So pretty much looks good with anything . It has a rubbery feel to it which is really noticeable if you wear a short sleeve shirt under. I usually layer a long sleeve shirt under it and it works perfect. Get a lot of compliments on it

Great all around jacket.
This jacket certainly will keep you dry in a rain storm.... but I have not found it to be very breathable as they claim. I do about a 30minutes walk every morning to work 1.3 miles (very lazy pace I will admit), by the time I get to work there is sweat pooling up at the cuffs of both sleeves and that is with the underarm vents opened up. it will keep you nice and warm as well. overall a great cool weather jacket.

Good quality, but doesn't breathe and plasticy feeling.
Great quality, and fits well, but the shell has a "plasticy" feeling. It's a little stiff and makes a garbage bag like swoosh when moving. Some good things are it keeps you warm, it's truly waterproof, and does a good job of blocking wind. Wish the lining was the same color as the outside. I won't lower the score for this because I know this wasn't made for running, but this jacket DOES NOT breathe when used for running. I planned to use it for runs on rainy days, and my base layer was absolutely soaked with sweat afterwards, and felt like I was trapped in a plastic bag. I have Adidas Climaproof jackets that I also use for rainy runs that also aren't advertised for running, but they breathe and move much better than this. Got it on sale so I'll just use it as regular jacket on rainy days instead.

Great rain jacket!
Best rain jacket I’ve ever bought. I’m a big guy At 6’2, 290lbs so it was important for It to be a light weight waterproof jacket especially since I live in the South. I love that it even has breatheable zippers under the arms to let air in. Can’t ask for a much better rain jacket!

Great jacket. Only downside is breathability. I’ve ridden in cool temp and still end up with sweaty arm/sleeves. Even with pit zippers fully open.

Es justo lo que buscaba
Talla mediana: mido 175cm, peso 70kg. Se siente amplia, no es el corte ajustado. La usado con lluvia ligera, ningun aguacero hasta ahorita. Es muy practica poder guardarla en su bolsa, pero se arruga mucho. El color amarillo muy visible pero me gusto mucho.

Valió suerte. No me gusto el diseño cuando me pongo el gorro y para acabarla si se trasmina el agua. Ni lo que costó.
