Comfortable Stretch Material, Fit As Expected

This is a good quality, lightweight shirt that can be great for a casual or business casual look. With the right tie, it could even be good for a suit-and-tie look. I like it because it does not have button-down collars. Fit is as expected. I'm 5'9", 185 lbs., and I wear a large. Sleeve length is good - slightly longer than the standard US 32/33 and slightly shorter than the standard 34/35. Downside: It is not wrinkle resistant. Will need ironing after washing. (Or be a cheater and use the dry cleaner for pressing.) The hanging pic in my review is right after washing and drying. Not seriously wrinkled, but if you're not into wrinkles on your clothes, then an iron or steam press is definitely needed.

Great shirt, but you must iron it

“Goodthreads Men's Slim-Fit Long-Sleeve Stretch Poplin Shirt“ This is a very well-made shirt, using nice fabric and excellent stitching. The dark olive color is really more of a brown, but it still looks very good. I am a 6-3, 250 pound weight lifter, and I normally wear a size XXL or XXL long. This shirt in size XXL long fits me perfectly - it would still fit if I was even taller. Also, this shirt is not “slim fit” like the listing says. It’s more of a classic fit, which I really like. The shirt is made of 98% Cotton and 2% Elastane, and it has a slight stretch to it. The only reason I didn’t give this shirt five stars is because it absolutely has to be ironed. Otherwise, it will be full of puckers and wrinkles. The label says to only use a cool iron (probably because of the Elastane in the material). Well, there is no way those wrinkles will come out without steam, so I turned my iron up a bit, just enough so it would produce some steam. The shirt turned out fine. I highly recommend this shirt, unless you’re allergic to ironing.

A nice looking cotton shirt, that will need to be pressed.

My husband plays in a local band, so he’s always on the lookout for good looking shirts with a nice print. I saw this Goodthreads long sleeve poplin shirt and knew he’d like it. I followed the recommendation of Amazon and purchased a large, but since my husband is 6’ with a long torso, he always prefers ‘tall’ when it’s available. Upon receiving the shirt, I was happy to find the color of the shirt to be the same as it was represented in the listing. My husband tried it on and it fits very well around the chest and torso, and conceals his little beer belly even though it’s a slim-fit. The sleeves are long enough for his arms, and the length is good for his long torso. The quality appears to be good in that it’s sewn well, the fabric is free of flaws, there are no missed or uneven stitches, and probably the most notable point of a better quality garment is the chest pocket. It is so perfectly aligned with the bodice background that you can’t even see it until you get close up to the shirt. The print is a tiny floral print, but it’s so simple and small, that it doesn’t come off as being feminine. In the listing it almost looked like a star, and in person, from a distance the tiny floral print is hard to identify. The only minor issue my husband had with the shirt is the shoulder width. He would’ve liked the shoulder seam to be about 1/2” - 1” wider on each side, and commented that someone with broader shoulders might not like the fit of this shirt. When my husband extends his arms out, it appears to be snug around his shoulders, but he said it’s not so bad that it’s uncomfortable. I always launder clothes prior to wearing for the first time, so I washed this in cold water with gentle detergent, and then used a drying rack to let the shirt naturally air dry. There was no fading, pilling, or unexpected wash wear noted on the shirt. Measurements taken before and after washing the shirt differed by 1/4” on the length of the sleeves as well as the back length on the shirt. With the fabric content being 98% cotton, I suppose there could be a small amount of shrinkage when dried in a hot dryer….I just don’t use the dryer for most of our nicer clothes, so I can’t give a testimony to how it’ll hold up. With the high cotton content, it was a little wrinkled after laundering it. In spite of that, my husband and I are both impressed by the quality of this shirt for the price, and would highly recommend it.

Good fit, good look, a little wrinkly...

I am 6'4" and 200lbs. One of my biggest problems is finding long-sleeved shirts that are long enough. This was it! I actually really like how this shirt fits, the arm length, the look. Lots of good qualities. The only knock is that its is very easy to wrinkle and its a tad 'thin'. So be ready to iron or steam to get rid of the wrinkles before you use them. Otherwise. Great buy, and awesome value for the price.

Nice Fit

Ordered a medium and it fits as expected. I like the color - Indigo Blue. Good quality and the cut is just right for wearing un-tucked. I rarely tuck in my shirt so this is a nice surprise. The loss of one star is because it doesn't come out of the laundry ready to go. It will need a quick ironing before I would wear it out in public.

Not as slim as I hoped

I am 6’6” 210lb, so I’m always a Tall, but somethings I wear Large Tall and others XLT. I went with XLT here, and its too big. I should have gone LT. So if you are on the fence, I’d probably size down.

An excellent buy!

I'm really happy with this dress shirt! The fit is a great balance between a slimmer profile and a cut with enough room where it's needed. The slim fit designation almost steered me away from this shirt because I am certainly not slim. But other shirts I have tried simply end up being too baggy and end up giving me a sloppy look. This is just right. The material has a good heft too. I also find the price to be competitive, especially if you time it so that it is on one of it's frequent sales.

Sono rimasta senza parole

Veste giusto, il materiale ( cotone)ottimo e non di scarsa qualità, per il prezzo che ho pagato posso dire che ho fatto un affare. Unica cosa che ho da dire è : perché non c'è pure di un altro colore unico?
