Nice, but a bit cheap feeling.

These Timberland glasses are made from a mixture of plastic and metal. They are nicely finished and look high quality. The issue I take with the sunglasses is that the metal used is quite thin and causes the glasses to flex easily. The thin metal keeps the sunglasses light, but at the expense of durability. The included folding case is quite thoughtfully designed. The style is simple and modern. There are hints of cobalt blue mixed in with the black. The glasses are wide and rectangular. They fit my largish oval face well. The glasses have a moderate tint and an effective polarized coating. The sunglasses are comfortable to wear all day with their lightweight construction. All in all... stylish but not particularly rugged.

Overall Good, But Not A Favorite Style

Not quite sure what to make of these glasses. First off, they are very lightweight and come with a very thoughtfully styled case. However, it didn't come with a cleaning cloth which is odd for this price point. It would only cost an extra few cents to include one. With regard to the style, i have a wide face and these are super wide even for my face, so I wouldn't characterize them as form fitting by any means. Also, the lenses, while pretty clear, are on the smaller size so some peripheral light and sun will come in. All that being said, they are starting to grow on me. Like I said, the lenses are clear and the color is cool. The lens are mirrored for a cooler look. If they hold up, I may put these in my sunglass rotation.

Super lightweight and work well. We like this style.

I actually find these Timberland Men's Rectangular Sunglasses more unisex in style, but maybe that's just me. The style is a pretty classic wider rectangular style, and they are REALLY lightweight to wear on your face. We really like the blue colored lenses, and they do the job well of blocking light out enough while still keeping things looking clear and kind of bright while looking through them. They come with a tri-fold case with a magnetic flap for protection, which is a nice added touch. We are big Maui Jim sunglasses fans - but while Maui Jims are still our favorites, they are also 2 (and sometimes 3) times the price of these Timberlands - and we still like these better than Oakleys. While some may find these rather pricey, they seem competitively priced to us compared to other brand names that are similar in style and design (and can run a far steeper price tag), so I'm actually happy with them overall on most points. They get two thumbs up from us!

Impressive

Good: -Light weight. -Good fit. -Well made. -Includes a case that folds flat for storage. Bad: -The fit and style worked well for my husband, but they are too big for me. I ordered the Timberland Men's Tba9265 Rectangular Sunglasses. The glasses have a soft comfortable feel and have an interesting design. We like that the exterior appears to be dark, but from the interior view, they are clear enough to use them indoors. Cleaning is easy with a cloth, but the sunglasses rarely need it. Overall, we have some high end sunglasses and these are impressive.

fits great and looks great on larger faces

I have a larger face (hat size 7.5). These sunglasses fit me comfortably. I like the sleek look of these rectangular lenses more than rounder lenses. The lenses are mirrored and polarized. Build quality is very good as you would expect from this price level. The polycarbonate lenses are more optically clear and more scratch resistant than the acrylic plastic lenses that you get on cheap sunglasses. The metal frames are sturdy, but lightweight. I have a smaller nose and really like the adjustable nose pieces. The inside of the frames is rubberized for comfort and to help hold the sunglasses in place. The sunglasses come with a foldable fiberboard semi-hard case that looks a little cheap, but is actually very practical if you want to fold the case flat and put it in your pocket when not in use.

Lightweight and comfortable - little geeky maybe

These glasses are incredibly lightweight and comfortable. Lenses throw a shade of grayish /blueish tone that feels kinda soothing. Where we live is non stop summer and SO bright, sunglasses are a must. These have thin frame and don’t leave sun marks on the face after long hours. I think this shape is a little geeky but still look good. Perhaps more so on a thin face but not so much on a fuller and cheekier face. Still a great quality by Timberland.
