No Big Calves

Socks are Comfortable But if you have LARGE MUSCLES in your Calves, FORGET ABOUT IT!!! Pass on these.

Nice socks

They’re comfortable. Well made. Thick. Warm. Cushiony. Good looking. Really like these socks. Would only change two things. I would like If they were just a tiny bit higher, more like in the photos. And I would prefer the outer portion to be a bit softer. It’s on the verge of reminding me of a burlap feel in some spots. In all fairness, I’m a woman reviewing men’s socks. Maybe the guys don’t mind. Or even notice.

Thick, plush, and comfortable.

Jeep's Rugged Crew Socks are very nicely made from densely woven fabric. They feel soft, plush, and luxurious on the feet. I wear a size 10.5 sneaker, but I like my socks to be extra long so I got the larger size. As a 5'6" male the larger size allowed these crew socks to pull all the way up my calves. They stay in place all day, don't slide down, and don't bunch up in my shoes. Speaking of shoes, these socks are extra thick, so if you shoes are a tight fit it will be hard to get these socks on and into your shoes. They are warm, but not sweat inducing. I washed them in my front load washer using cold water and dried them on low heat. They came out perfectly. All in all... wonderful socks.

Thick, Comfortable Socks

You don't have to drive a Jeep to own this pair of socks. I purchased the gray with the orange stripe. They fit my size 11 feet very, very well. They are thick and comfortable and feel great under boots during a hard days walking, sitting, and standing. They are warm without being suffocating. Great socks!

Heavy duty, thick and warm, reinforced in all the right places

The sizing seems spot-on for these "Jeep Mens Rugged Wool Blend Crew Socks"...I ordered the size 8-12 socks and they fit my size 11 feet perfectly. Snug, but not tight. I've worn them for about 8 hours now, walking around inside and outside, and they have not fallen down one bit. For a thick, wool-blend sock, they seem light when I wear them, I don't even notice they are there. My socks arrived just as a cold spell is hitting our area, so I'll be using them right away. The first time I put them on I could feel my feet and calves warm up immediately. See the photos that others have posted, they show the insides of the socks are fairly thick loop-sewn soft fabric. They really are extremely comfortable. I'm no sock "expert", but these are definitely the most comfortable socks I've owned in years. I hope they hold up under use so I can use them for all-day hiking. At this price point, these are an unexpected bargain.

I would compare these to Carhartt socks.

I wear work boots so I usually wear boot socks... and my go to's have been Carhartt brand. These Jeep branded socks are well made, warm, and soft on the feet. I would compare them to the Carhartt socks. They are just as soft and warm as the Carhartts.... and they have JEEP printed on them. How can any socks be more "manly" than that? Highly recommended.

Very nice hiking socks

These are thick, cushiony, very comfortable socks, and they fit my size 10.5 feet very well. They also have good elastic and stay up well and don't slide down into my boots to cause discomfort or blisters. When the seller says "thick". however, believe them. These are quite thick, so if you have shoes or boots that fit well with thinner dress socks, you'll probably not want to try to wear them with these. Really nice, comfortable, warm socks - may feel a bit warm on a hot day, but they seem to wick moisture and breathe well. I hike mostly in the mountains where it's cooler (and sometimes quite cold) so they're great for me. I'm not necessarily a Jeep guy, although I have had occasion to use those impressive off-road vehicles and come away impressed with their abilities. Maybe these socks will give me the same kind of trail-ready hiking prowess? I have a buddy that's a Jeep guy all the way. Guess I should get him a pair of these too - hey, that takes care of my Christmas shopping for him!
