Just a hair to large to work
Just a hair to large that it would not allow the seal to drop into place. Had to buy another whole drain part. I probable could have taken a scissors and cut it but didn't want to do that.

Fit and stopped the toilet tank leak down
The items were sent promptly and fixed my leak down problem whereby water was slowly leaking from the tank into to bowl. This was not the modern flapper style flush activator but was an unusual big plastic sort of device. If you think this is what you need I advise you to first measure the seal/washer/gasket or whatever you wish to call it and be careful you do not drop the plastic retaining piece into the water discharge opening or you will have to remove the tank to get it back. I know from experience. OD is about 2 5/8" ID hole is about 1 1/8".

Great for Niagara Stealth
Absolutely bonkers that a 2-year-old toilet should need a replacement part, but that's the crappy "Profit before anything else!" world we live in. Capitalism has its weaknesses... Anyway, this part fits the Niagara Stealth just dandy and the toilet no longer refills the tank Avery 10 minutes.

Had A Leaking Toilet This Did The Trick
Funny that my leaking toilet drove me crazy. It will fill with water and every 15 minutes or so I would hear it go on to fill the toilet again. The flush valve seal I had was the problem. Replaced it with this one that fit my device perfectly and no longer do I hear the water filling anymore. I have a German-made Villroy and Bach toilet that has a strange German system and had one of these seals on the bottom. The seal no longer worked properly and the new one seals tight so there is no longer any leakage. I am sure if I called a plumber it would have cost me a lot to have him come over, order the new seal and replace the old one. For the $2 it cost, I fixed my toilet now and will save on my water usage.

Fixed the Problem
My toilet was leaking. Replacing this part fixed it! Thought I was going to need to rebuild the whole toilet, but this little inexpensive part was all I needed.

Works as advertised
Installed easily. Works like it should. A more than little pricey , considering the last one I purchased about 7-8 years ago was only $3.95 Canadian. It was also a original American Standard part.

Stop the leaking
Amazing how this washer stops all the leaking from the flush valve. The material is a very soft material that can seal with only light pressure.
