Great Stretch Thread

I love it thread in the loopers of my serger, for sewing knits. Or if sergering a rolled edge, this thread has great coverage, making a beautiful finished look.

Love using this for the looper threads. Makes those serged seams softer and more comfortable to wear.

Strong material

It is stretchy and strong. I just wish it would have been intertwined together to make it looks like thread. It looks like loose pieces of thread just put together.

Stretch Thread

I was sewing very stretchy knits. This thread worked fine. It is just not as stretchy or as full as Wooly Nylon. If I were doing rolled hems on napkins, etc. I think I would prefer Wooly Nylon. But the MaxiLock was easy to work with.

Worked well

Bit of a challenge getting it to sew in the machine well. Thread stretched in the sewing machine before getting to the cloth no matter how much I lightened the tension (machine's fault not the thread's). Thread was a bit bumpy. Holding good after about six weeks.

Hand sewing okay

I bought this to mend some of my workout leggings and while it works especially if you’re hand sewing it’s not something I’d want to buy again. It’s not spun so the fibers come apart easy and that makes threading a needle a pain. I would NEVER put this on my sewing machine because it’s not spun. I would be very worried that the loose fiber would clog up my machine’s moving parts.
