Cute, but inconsistent fit, runs a bit small

I love the look of these shirts, and I appreciate the longer back so they can be worn with leggings. However, I ran into a similar issue with these that I did with leggings of the same brand. They are all XS (4-5), bought for my petite 4 year old. These shirts seem inconsistent in their sizing. The blue shirt and pink shirt fit fine, but the gray one is smaller. My daughter is only just now into size 4 clothes, she is not big for her age. She is slightly smaller than average, so I expected these to fit a bit bigger. If your kid is close to the next size up, I'd definitely size up, because I'd say this brand runs small.
