Love the Shampoo. HATE the Pump!
I'm a fan of this product, and I've purchased it before. But the bottle was different the last time I bought it. Pumps are supposed to be convenient. They are supposed to make things easier. This pump doesn't come back up after being pressed down. When the shampoo comes out, it's thick. Now, I don't mind the thickness, but it seems like thickening the shampoo is what's making the pump stick. I poured mine into the empty bottle of another product.

My favorite!
I have curly hair and recently went to a curly hair salon where they used this product on my hair. It left there smelling wonderful with my curls looking beautiful. They are expensive, but last a long time, and worth the price tag!

Shampoo spilled on book in the box
The shampoo works well. I like it, but the smell is a little different. The reason I deducted 2 stars is because 1/4 of the bottle leaked out during shipping. Missing out on the product wasn't economical. The other problem was the shampoo leaked onto a paperback book that was placed in the same box. Please tape the bottle tops in place and if you're going to ship liquids with books separate them in a Ziploc baggie; either the liquids or the books. I did place 2 separate orders, but Amazon put them in the same box. I'm disappointed with the lack of common sense.

Bad batch?
I have been using this product faithfully for 3 years. Curly Girl and LOVE IT. My most recent bottle came super thick on the bottom. Almost gel like. It is normally quite runny. Water like. This bottle was So thick it was difficult to pump. I assume this was a bad batch and not a product change? Returning it.

Wonderful for Curly Hair and Sensitive Skin
AG Hair products have been the only products I've used on my hair for the most part for years now, ever since my stylist recommended them for my super dry curly hair. Tons of products, such as argon oil, do very little to moisturize my curls, and wind up breaking out my skin. Same for things like thick hair milk and styling cream; it breaks out my skin, possibly because I'm allergic to dairy. The AG products I've used are all vegan, and super gentle on my skin and hair. I've used the AG Boost and AG Curl Fresh Conditioner as leave-in conditioners for years, and I've used the Balance shampoo for years without my hair ever getting tired of it.

So far so good
I ordered this product for the fact that it will help seal the cuticle of my hair. My hair has become over moisturized from using products that are too heavy for my fine hair, and jas started to look and feel damaged. I used this shampoo for the first time last night and air dried my hair. Usually, if I air dry, my hair is completely stuck to my scalp and my hair looks nasty. And if I diffuse, my hair looks super poofy and frizzy. I have curly hair and have lost a lot of curl from being over moisturized and after the first use of this product, I'm seeing curls forming in areas that I havent seen curl in a long long time. My hair still needs fixing but I thing I'm headed in the right direction. My hair dried nicely too, it doesn't feel stuck to my scalp, it feels very light and fluffy. I'm going to continue to update this review as I wash my hair more with this product. As a disclaimer, I dont use conditioner because it hair doesn't need the added moisture and I just hate it. So I'm using this product alone, without the matching conditioner. Oh! And another huge bonus of this shampoo is that it smells BOMB. Even on the bottle, it talks about aromatherapy and it's no joke. It's not overpowering at all, it smells very natural and earthy, fully of essential oil scents. It made the whole shower experience very pleasant and honestly made me feel very relaxed. Five stars so far! Update: I've washed with this shampoo 4 times now and I'm still loving the results. Continuing to have curl in areas where I didn't before and my hair feels and looks much healthier. I've added the AG cloud foam as a styler and the 2 together make my hair look so soft and shiney!! Still 5 stars from me!

Amazing ingredients!
I spent a long time searching for a shampoo and conditioner duo with natural and safe ingredients. This one smells great, like essential oils. It makes my hair soft. It helps with my dandruff because of the apple cider vinegar. The only ingredient I have an issue with is the Polysorbate 20. It’s worth the higher price tag. I’ve researched every shampoo at Sephora and they all have at least a few bad ingredients.

Don't buy
This is a relatively expensive product that does not deliver. I have a hard time believing all of the positive reviews I see for this one. First of all, it stinks horribly; literally smelling like insect repellent. It's also very drying on my hair. It made my wavy/curly hair look weak, thinner than before, dry and frizzy. If you have a drier hair type, don't waste your money.

Do not buy
The product was not fresh and the pomp was broken. The shampoo was soo hard not liquid at all like it his suppose to be.cant be use. I spent my money for nothing. I suggest you buy the product direct from the compagnie. The product will be fresh. I regret

Disappointing
I was optimistic about trying this product, along with the boost conditioner and the remedy spray. My scalp is very dry and flaky. I was hoping this would remedy the issue. After washing my roots were visibly flaky (this usually doesnt happen for a day or too). This morning (morning after washing) my hair is so full of dandruff that I will need to wash before I go out. I usually shampoo 2 times a week. My hair is WORSE then going 4 or 5 days after washing instantly after showering. Absolutley disapointed with the products. The smell however is nice, but do not recommend.

Great for dry hair
My hair has been dry from when I became anemic at age 12. After two days of using the AG hair care balance shampoo and boost conditioner my hair was like it was when i was a kid. Highly recommend! It has no sulfates and makes my hair super soft. It also falls a lot nicer and gives my hair a natural healthy look! Worth every penny- was a bit hesitant on the price but I love it so much and it’s all I will ever buy onwards. Threw out the salon shampoos I previously had.
