I’m so disappointed…

First off, I LOVE the material and design of this dress… but the fit is so off!! For reference I’m a 44D and a size 14. Where do I start. The arm length is not long enough yet is tight down my arm. The shoulders are extremely puffy and unflattering. The top closure barely on me however when I have it open, my whole entire bra and chest is exposed!!! Nothing that fashion tape can fix. Lastly, there are so many layers with the lining and with the pockets it made me feel wide. I wanted to love this because it was so cute on Caralyn. But this is not it for me ????

Not what I expected

I follow Cararlyn on social media and trust her opinions on fashion because duh, she's a model and always looks great. I ordered one of the most comfortable wrap dresses that I own the last time she did a "drop" collection with Amazon. So this collection i had to get this wrap dress as well. I ordered up because the last dress was a little snug and because the style of this wrap dress was a little different I wanted to make sure it my bust. I received my dress yesterday and I'm so disappointed in the material. It's 100% polyester which is in the description but I failed to read (my own error) and feels so cheap. Btw my issue isn't with the polyester, it's with cheap feeling, slightly shiny material.. Also, even though I sized up it's too snug and fits smaller than my wrap dress from Caralyn's last collection. Overall, just sad I ordered it and now have to make time to return a dress I was really looking forward to receiving.

Faux wrap fit was a miss for me

I reeeally wanted to like this dress. I had snagged 2 dresses from Caralyn's previous drop collection and they fit beautifully. However, the faux wrap didn't work on my body. I got a size large, like in the true wraps and the top was baggy and unflattering. The button closure also did not hit at a good spot for my chest. The material and print did not seem as lux as I would like for something "silky" seeming. Really wanted a fall/winter version to love but just didn't work for me.

Beautiful pattern and material, not the right dress for me

I LOVE the pattern and flow of this dress, but as a plus size 5’3 person it didn’t flatter my body the way I hoped. The arms were long and because they are decorative, they aren’t easily altered. And while the hook for the bust area provided more coverage, I still had some gaping—I’m an ELOMI 36GG. Love the look and I know some of y’all will rock this dress, but I wasn’t able to.

Beautiful (but snap broke)

The dress is beautiful and was worth the wait (pre-ordered) but the hook at the chest broke when I tried it on. Very disappointing but I’m sure I can sew a new one on, if it weren’t sold out I’d exchange but it’s worth it to me overall to keep.

Beautifully made, weird fit

Wanted to love this dress. It was high quality, lined, stretchy. But it made my hips look wide and the bust part fit weird. It comes with a modesty clip which I loved in theory. But on me was too tight to wear with the clip but too exposing to wear without it. It’s a no unfortunately.

Stunning!

I don’t think I’ve ever had a dress fit me so perfectly! While the shirt in this style didn’t work for me, the dress seems to have more room in the bust. The fullness in the skirt accentuates my waist, and the fabric is so flattering that spanx is not necessary. My only complaint is that the modesty button should be about an inch or more lower, it’s ridiculously high. But I love this dress and can’t wait to wear it during the holidays.

Creates a bulky hip area

I was excited for this to arrive so I could wear for family pictures because it looked great on Caralyn Mirand and she is so fit focused I figured the design would be great. Sadly it didn’t work out. The elastic was thick and made it bulk out right at the hip area all the way under the elastic. 5’5, 120 lbs for reference and the small was too short on me. The ties were very long and could wrap around twice. Maybe that is intentional design but just extra bulk to me.

No no no…. Its just bad

This was a huge disappointment. It could have been better in my opinion, I wish it was a true wrap not faux. There is too much bulk around the chest and wayy too much around the hips.

Too big

Great style but it’s too big for me, I like it so I will alter instead of returning.
